Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University has participated in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2024

Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University has participated in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2024, which assesses universities’ efforts to support sustainable development goals and their significant impact on society. The THE Impact Rankings 2024 evaluates universities based on their roles in research, institution management, academic services, and teaching that respond to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This ranking includes 2,152 higher education institutions from 125 countries worldwide. In 2024, Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University chose to be evaluated on the following four SDGs:

1. SDG 2: End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition, and promote sustainable agriculture.
2. SDG 7: Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable, and modern energy for all.
3. SDG 15: Protect, restore, and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, manage forests sustainably, combat desertification, halt and reverse land degradation, and halt biodiversity loss.
4. SDG 17: Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development (mandatory goal).

On June 12, 2024, Times Higher Education (THE) announced the results of the 2024 Impact Rankings. Overall, Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University scored 46.6 points, placing it in the 1001+ group globally out of 2,152 universities worldwide and in the 23rd group in Thailand.

The detailed evaluation results by SDG are as follows:
1. SDG 15: Ranked 201-300 globally with a total score of 55.2 out of 100.
2. SDG 2: Ranked 301-400 globally with a total score of 49.4 out of 100.
3. SDG 7: Ranked 601-800 globally with a total score of 41.5 out of 100.
4. SDG 17: Ranked 1001+ globally with a total score of 39.9 out of 100.
